H.FRODSHAM LIVERPOOL

A well figured Bow fronted Mahogany stick barometer by this member of the respected Frodsham family.
The silvered scales with a mercury thermometer are signed with the makers name.
Henry Frodsham of Castle Street Liverpool is recorded as 1828-51.

An elegant Viennese wall regulator by Anton Hiebner in Wien.
The month duration movement has a very attractive dial with a gilt engine turned decorated centre.
The mahogany case very well figured, and with flame veneered backboard.

Made circa 1840

An early 19th century Rosewood wall clock
The curve to the wall base has brass inlay, and a glazed aperture showing the moving pendulum.
The 8-day English Fusee` movement with shouldered plates has a 10inch unsigned convex dial.

Made circa 1830

A 19th century English Drop dial wall clock.
The mahogany case has a glazed aperture which shows the moving pendulum.
There is also brass and mother of pearl inlays to the drop box.

A good mahogany cased Baragraph by Negretti & Zambra.
This example is not only a baragraph but also has a temperature graph, so this instrument is known as a Thermo baragraph.
The fully glazed case with bevelled edge glasses has a pull out chart drawer.

This very desirable Viennese wall regulator known as a Laterndluhr.
This example is quite rare in two respects, as early two train examples seldom come onto the market.
Also its relatively small size an important factor.

An early 19th century Mahogany Viennese wall regulator of small size.
The Month duration movement with Dead-beat escapement has a white enamel dial with an engine turned gilt bezel.
These early style clocks are known as Laterndluhr`s and have slide off hoods and pullout glazed panels.
